Bots to work!

Bots are programs that help people in performing various tasks, sometimes they are equipped with a learning function. We also have a bot on the interactive floor - it is Dot Bot - a set of five coding games for the interactive floor. To those who know him, there is no need to praise him. Today I present him especially to those who haven't had the opportunity to play with him on the floor yet.

Dot Bot is an obedient little robot that carries out various missions. He has many routes to cover with tasks to be performed. He has to remember to recharge his battery regularly, because he is quite a power eater. Sometimes he plays the role of a mechanic winding up other equipment for work, other times he acts as a forklift and places containers with goods in their places. And sometimes he gets stuck in a maze and needs to be quickly led out of there. Who is programming Bot for its tasks? Of course you.

It is worth mentioning that playing with Robot Bot is not only fun. It is also an opportunity to shape spatial orientation, planning and foresight skills.

I will show you on the examples of my favorite two games what challenges await you.

Take a look at the map below and plan a route for the robot by lighting the appropriate arrows with the pen. Remember that the roads are one-way so watch out for dead ends.

You did it? It was the easy version. Try to plan the route below for Bot now.

Arrow Plan - very difficult level

Arrow Plan - very difficult level

The second map requires much more research. It was a very difficult version. There are four difficulty levels in the Arrow Plan game. The maps are randomly generated, so there are endless puzzles to solve.

On the plus side:

  • Randomly generated boards.
  • 4 difficulty levels to choose from.
  • If you change your mind just mark the arrow again.
  • You walk all over the board!

Plan Dot Bot's route to success or draw another board!

SokoBot

You know the game Sokoban? In Dot Bot version you need to analyze the warehouse layout and plan the order in which the containers are moved to their places. The task is so difficult that with one wrong move you can lose the opportunity to complete the task. Therefore, you need to make optimal use of the available space and skillfully guide the Bot on the board using four arrows.

Try to solve the problem below.

How did it go? Time for a bigger challenge? Please try the following task.

SokoBot - level 23

Did you manage to arrange the containers the first time?

There are 25 boards to solve in SokoBot, so our Bot has lot of work to do.

On the plus side:

  • 25 levels to beat.
  • You control your Bot from one place.

Repeat your board to success or take the next one!

Hope you enjoyed the games presented. If you are interested in other challenges for Dot Bot, I invite you to read the description of the Dot Bot application collection in the MotionCube.io store.
